Tequila Trail

Cannot get to Scotland for the whisky trail.  Try the Trequila trail  in Mexico instead.  Spend a few days at the beach and then rent a car and drive from Puero Vallarta to the charming colonial city of Guadalajara. On the way you pass through the magnificent blue agave fields near the town of Tequila with its many tasting rooms. The  connoisseurs know that the best tequila comes from this region. Not a connoisseur, then bring home one of the beautiful ceramic flasks that the tequila is stored in.
